Kun Hsu, General Manager
Kun Hsu has over 7 years of consulting, corporate and entrepreneurial experience in both China and the United States. Prior to arriving at Capvision Partners, Kun previously was a Consultant in the Shanghai office of Bain & Company. He has also worked in multinationals such as Microsoft and launched his owned entrepreneurial venture. Kun has an MBA from INSEAD, Graduate Certificate from the Hopkins-Nanjing Center, and BSc. from the Wharton School.
Grace Wang, VP of Operations
Grace Wang has over 9 years of government, entrepreneurial and consulting experience in China. Before working at Capvision Partners, Grace was a Senior Business Development Manager for a foreign investment firm based in Shanghai Industrial Park. Previously, she has also worked in the education industry and established her owned training institute in Shanghai. Grace graduated from Xi'an International Studies University.
Qi Yan, Senior Business Development Manager
Qi Yan has 4 years of consulting, corporate and NGO experience in China. Before joining Capvision, Qi was a consultant in the Shanghai office of A.T. Kearney. She has a Masters degree from Nanjing University and a Bachelors from Zhejiang University.
James Dougherty, Senior Account Director
James has over 5 years of account management, sales and marketing experience; during this time he has worked at Bloomberg LP in New York and iSoftStone Information Services Corporation in Beijing, China's 3rd largest IT outsourcing company. James graduated from Miami University.
Kate Ji, Account Director
Kate joined Capvision's team since the inception of the firm. She graduated from the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology and got Master's degree in Economics. Prior to joining the Capvision, she worked in 3 Suisses China, Marketing Department.
William Zhao, VP of Business Development
Over 7 year of consulting and industry experience; with working experience in Bain & Company and HSBC. William graduated from Tsinghua University

Tony Saich, Strategic Advisor
Daewoo Professor of International Affairs, Faculty Chair of Asia Programs, and Director of the Harvard University Asia Center. From 1994 until July 1999, he was a representative for the China Office of the Ford Foundation. Before that he was Director of the Sinological Institute at Leiden University, the Netherlands. His teaching and research focus on the interplay between state and society in Asia and the respective roles they play in determining policymaking and framing socioeconomic development. Mr. Saich has written several books on developments in China. He studied political science in the UK and has taught at universities in England, Holland, and the United States.
Li Yanren, Strategic Advisor
Former Director of Wuxi Economic Commission and Commission of Science Technology and Industry for National Defense. He was also the former Chairman of Wuxi Federation of Industrial Enterprises and Wuxi Enterprise Directors Association, and was the former Chairman of Suntech Power. He is the current CEO of Danyang Semiconductor Co.,Ltd as well as the strategic consultant of Jiangsu Shunfeng Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd. Mr. Li Yanren has had over 10 years’ experience in the industry of polycrystal silicon and has wide knowledge of the market, technology and trends of the industry
Kai Hong, Strategic Advisor
Kai has over 10 years of consulting, corporate and entrepreneurial experience in China, Germany and the United States. Kai is currently Senior Director of Cisco System based in Shanghai. Prior to Cisco, Kai was a Manager in the Shanghai office of Bain & Company. He previously also spent significant amount of time working for Siemens AG both in Germany and China. Kai holds an MBA from Wharton School, MA in International Studies from Lauder Institute of International Studies of University of Pennsylvania, and MSc in Electrical Engineering from Aachen University of Technology in Germany.
Roger Xu, Strategic Advisor
Roger has over 15 years of professional experiences in strategy, business development and government affairs in China. Roger is currently Director of Government Affairs at General Motors in Shanghai. Prior to GM, Roger was Director of Government Affairs at Siemens China. Roger holds an MSc in Electrical Engineering from Shanghai Jiaotong University.
