Renewable energy in China

The "Renewable Energy in China" seminar was held on May 16th in Shanghai with Mr. Yanren Li 李延人 (former Chairman of Suntech Power) and Mr. Junsheng Zhu 朱俊生 (Vice Chairman of China Renewable Energy Association) as speakers. This seminar addressed the latest technological trend and potential investment opportunities in the area of renewable energy in China. About the Advisers
Mr. Li Yanren was the director of Economic Commission of Wuxi Government, the director of Municipal National Defense Industry Office, the chairman of Wuxi Industry and Commerce Association, the chairman of Wuxi Enterpriser Association and the board chairman of Suntech Power. He is currently the CEO of Danyang Semiconducting Material, the board chairman and CEO of Suotaike Technology and the strategy consultant of Shunfeng Photovoltaic Technology. He has been in the polycrystalline silicon industry for many years, with deep understanding of the market, technology, tendency, and etc.

Mr. Zhu Junsheng is the vice chairman of China Renewable Energy Association, the director of Chinese Renewable Energy Industry Association, the vice chairman of China Association of Rural Energy Industry, the honorary chairman of Wind Power Machinery Subcommittee of China Association of Agricultural Machinery Manufactures and the member of China Energy Research Society. As a senior engineer, he has worked in Rural Energy Leading Group of the State Council, State Economic and Trade Commission and National Development and Reform Commission, taking charge of planning and policy making for renewable energy, industry development, technology development and innovation.
