This spring we started a new series of "Meet the Experts" seminars.

 

At these seminars, we invited prominent industry leaders to share with you their insights on market, trend and policies of their respective industries. With these seminars we also aim to establish a platform for investment professionals in PE funds, hedge funds and strategy consulting firms to exchange and generate ideas.

 

The latest seminar "Alternative Energy in China" was held on September 19th in Beijing with Mr. Tonghe Shen 申同贺 (Vice Director of Coal Chemical Center of China Chemical Industry Productivity Center 国家化工行业生产力促进中心煤化工中心副主任) and Mr. Jianping Ye 叶建平 (Director of Research Center of China United Coalbed Methane Corp. Ltd., 中联煤层气有限责任公司研究中心主任) as speakers. This seminar addressed the latest technological trend and potential investment opportunities in the area of alternative energy in China. The seminar attendees were also able to use this opportunity to get insight into topics that help drive their potential investment decisions in this area.

Topic 中国煤层气开发现状和前景 Advisor Mr. 叶建平 现任中联煤层气有限责任公司研究中心主任，中国煤炭学会煤层气专业委员会秘书长，《中国煤层气》杂志副主编。国土资源部、国家发改委、财政部《新一轮全国油气资源评价》专家组专家。曾主持完成国家煤炭工业局《全国煤层气资源评价》，国家“十五”科技攻关项目、国家发改委沁南煤层气开发利用示范工程等。
